The Connecticut Horticultural Society presents the Philadelphia Flower Show - Sunday and Monday, March 4 - 5, 2018! It promises to be a memorable tour featuring:

Day 1:Depart aboard our deluxe motorcoach for the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. We begin our trip with a visit to the BRAND NEW MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. The Museum explores the dynamic story of the American Revolution using their expansive collection of Revolutionary-era weapons, personal items, documents, and works of art. Immersive galleries, theater experiences, and recreated historical moments bring to life the events, people, and ideals of our nation’s founding and engaging people in history and continuing relevance of the American Revolution.

WELCOME DINNER tonight at a local favorite, Spasso Italian Grill. Start with salad and then Entrée choice of: Penne Spasso - Sauteed with peas, bacon, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes in a pink cream sauce; Grilled Norwegian Salmon topped with lemon, caper white wine sauce & grilled veggies OR Chicken Misto - Chicken breast topped with asparagus and mozzarella. Day 2: Following a hot, deluxe continental breakfast we’re off to the fabulous PHILADELPHIA FLOWER SHOW - ’WONDERS OF WATER’. Explore a sea of color as America’s premier flower show explores the extraordinary, essential and life-giving beauty of water in the world.
The Philadelphia Flower Show is America’s largest horticultural event, which attracts 250,000 guests each year. The garden and floral designers will show that horticultural design is itself a form of art. Enjoy acres of gardens, thousands of displays, more than 180 shops in the Marketplace, interactive exhibits and more. This show is sure to be amazing!
