Day 1
Depart aboard a deluxe motorcoach for the heart of the 1000 Islands, Clayton, NY. Enjoy 2 nights accommodations at the 1000 ISLANDS HARBOR HOTEL, a AAA Four Diamond property idyllically set on the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River, welcoming guests with luxury accommodations and unmatched hospitality. Welcome dinner marks our arrival.
Day 2
This morning we board our UNCLE SAM BOAT for our TWO NATION TOUR through what is considered the heart of the 1000 Islands. Hear the colorful history and folk lore as we cruise through the narrow channels, over historic sunken wrecks, and by magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous. Visit magnificent BOLDT CASTLE, the grandest of all gilded age mansions. Take a glimpse into one of the most compelling love stories of George & Louise Boldt, millionaire proprietor of the world famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC. This afternoon enjoy a wine tasting at the THOUSAND ISLANDS WINERY before heading out to dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3
Visit the ANTIQUE BOAT MUSEUM, home of the finest collection of nautical memorabilia in America, for a tour that will let us see over 100 antique boats. Head for home with memories of our getaway on the St. Lawrence Seaway.
