Day 1

Depart aboard a deluxe motorcoach for 3 days in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, PA. Our first stop will be the brand new FAITH & LIBERTY DISCOVERY CENTER where we see American history in a whole new light. American values like faith, liberty, justice, hope, unity and love have shaped our country and formed us as a people. These same values have motivated some of our greatest cultural moments and political achievements from independence, to emancipation, to women’s suffrage, and to civil rights. And these values have pulled us through the nation’s darkest days of war, domestic strife, and terrorist attacks. Explore these values, their source, and the incredible lives of people they have inspired from America’s founding through today in this new immersive and interactive attraction. Dinner tonight will be a local favorite. Overnight at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Dinner

Day 2

Today we start with a tour of the MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Journey through the remarkable story of America’s founding. Original artifacts, immersive settings and dynamic theaters will take you on a journey from the roots of conflict to the outbreak of fighting, and from the bold Declaration of Independence through the long years of warfare and the creation of a new nation in their engaging galleries. We will enjoy a boxed lunch here before we head off to the BARNES FOUNDATION. The Barnes Foundation houses one of the finest collections of 19th and 20th century French paintings in the world. The museum’s permanent collection features 181 Renoirs, 69 Cézanne's and 59 Matisses, along with works by Van Gogh, Manet, Degas, Seurat, Prendergrast, Picasso & more, set among ground breaking African sculpture and Native American ceramics, jewelry and textiles. Return to freshen up before a special treat! JOHN BARTRAM, botanist, horticulturalist and explorer is coming to dinner. Costumed impersonator will share his stories, humor and horticultural history , You can ask him that question that you have always wondered about horticulture! Dinner tonight at Maggiano's. Boxed Lunch, Dinner

Day 3

Our morning begins at the 194th PENNSYLVANIA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY FLOWER SHOW. The show has moved back inside for a spectacular climate controlled show! Returning indoors also allows PHS to bring back the large, float-style floral displays the event has been known for over the last few decades.  As the nation’s longest-running horticultural event, this Flower Show is a stunning and educational look at the world of floral design and gardening. Don’t forget to check out the marketplace for some great shopping! Time on own for lunch before our late afternoon departure. We continue home with memories of this great show and the city.
