Itinerary
Day 1
Depart aboard our deluxe motorcoach as we head south for 5 days celebrating our great Military. Overnight accommodations in Arlington, VA at the HILTON CRYSTAL CITY. Welcome dinner tonight.
Day 2
This morning we depart to Norfolk, VA for the VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL TATTOO. We begin our Tattoo experience at the HULLABALOO featuring outdoor performances from pipers, dancers, drill teams and drum lines to get you ready for the main show. The Tattoo offers an astounding display of inspirational military music, majestic massed pipes and drums, show stopping drill team maneuvers, colorful and elegant dancers, and much more. 3 nights on Virginia Beach at the OCEANFRONT INN - our rooms have PRIVATE BALCONIES FACING THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. Dinner tonight in our hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast we spend the day in NORFOLK, a city rich in maritime history. Board the VICTORY ROVER for our 2 hour narrated cruise including a BOX LUNCH. Cruise the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River and Hampton Roads Harbor to witness the majesty of the Navy’s aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, guided missile cruises and other vessels that make up the world’s most powerful seagoing armada. Next we visit the NORFOLK BOTANICAL GARDENS, a 175 acre garden that is home to 52 distinctive themed gardens, 95 species of birds and 30 kinds of butterflies. Enjoy an overview of the garden on our narrated tram tour before exploring the garden on your own. Dinner tonight at a local restaurant.
Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely day in Virginia Beach to stroll the boardwalk, relax by the pool, go souvenir shopping or visit the Aquarium. Farewell dinner tonight.
Day 5
We depart with memories of our time in Virginia.
