Itinerary
Day 1
It’s summertime… climb aboard and head over the Bourne Bridge and onto Old Cape Cod. Visit to the HERITAGE MUSEUMS & GARDENS celebrating American culture and excellence in horticulture garden design. Located on 100 acres of gardens and nature trails, the estate has a significant collection of specialty gardens and the museum houses classic automobiles, a vintage carousel and more. Enjoy 2 nights at the HOLIDAY INN CAPE COD HYANNIS, featuring spacious guestrooms, restaurant, indoor pool and whirlpool. Welcome dinner at the DAN’L WEBSTER INN.
Day 2
After breakfast, we’ll daytrip to NANTUCKET ISLAND. Board your ferry to America’s most scenic little Island and become acquainted with the “Little Grey Lady.” GUIDED TOUR highlights include the Old Mill, Sconset Village, Low Beach, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Cranberry bogs and Nantucket moors. Free time for lunch, shopping or biking before returning to the mainland. Evening at leisure.
Day 3
Discover the art and history of glassmaking through stunning exhibits at the SANDWICH GLASS MUSEUM. Live glassblowing demonstrations bring this timeless craft to life. Enjoy lunch before a relaxing TWO-HOUR NARRATED CRUISE along the CAPE COD CANAL, showcasing scenic views and impressive landmarks like the Bourne and Sagamore bridges. Learn about the canal’s history and engineering as you glide through this iconic waterway. Take in beautiful coastal scenery and watch for seasonal wildlife along the route. We’re homeward bound after our summertime adventure on Old Cape Cod and Nantucket.
