Day 1
Charleston, South Carolina Motorcoach to Hartford/Bradley Airport for your flight to historic Charleston, SC. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to begin exploring this elegant city known for its rich history, Southern charm, and beautifully preserved architecture.
Day 2
Charleston Discover Charleston your way with a choice of: a guided walking tour through Charleston's historic district or a harbor cruise to Fort Sumter, site of the first shots of the Civil War. Browse the famous Charleston City Market before touring Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens. This evening, gather for a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)
Day 3
Charleston to Savannah, Georgia Enjoy a leisurely morning in Charleston before traveling through South Carolina's scenic Low Country to Savannah, where you'll explore lively River Street before enjoying a cooking demonstration and dinner featuring Southern regional specialties. (B,D)
Day 4
Savannah Choose between a narrated trolley tour of Savannah's Historic District or a haunted walking tour. Both options include admission to the famed Mercer Williams House. The remainder of the day is yours to explore Savannah's charming squares, shops, and riverfront. (B)
Day 5
Savannah to St. Simons Island to Jekyll Island Visit the Pin Point Heritage Museum to learn about the Gullah Geechee culture and people before traveling to picturesque St. Simons Island for free time. Continue to the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort for a two-night stay. (B)
Day 6
Jekyll Island Spend a relaxing morning enjoying the resort atmosphere of Jekyll Island. Take a guided tram tour of the island and its Historic Landmark District, once a retreat for America’s wealthiest families, including the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts. Payment Policy
DEPOSIT: $900 pp due with reservations; FINAL PAYMENT: December 1, 2026Cancellation Policy
If a passenger cancels from deposit date to December 1, 2026 the cancellation fee is $800 pp; December 1, 2026 - January 20, 2027 the cancellation fee is $2500 pp; no refunds if cancelled after January 20, 2027. All cancellation fees are plus any non-refundable airline fees.

TRIP PROTECTION COVERAGE
Trip Protection Coverage is strongly recommended. Friendship Tours offers Travel Protection insurance through two providers: NTA Travel Protection Plan and Travel Insured International. Travel Protection offers coverage for Cancellation for Covered Medical Reasons, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical Services, Travel Delay, & more. Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage can be purchased from either provider (see timing guidelines below) and will reimburse up to 75% of prepaid nonrefundable trip costs if canceled at least 48 hours prior to your trip for a non-covered reason. The NTA (AON) Travel Protection Plan is based on the cost of the trip and offers 3 levels of insurance: Basic, Enhanced, or Enhanced with CFAR. Emergency medical coverage is secondary coverage. The pre-existing medical condition exclusion can be waived by purchasing the Enhanced Plan or the Enhanced with CFAR Plan within 14 days of initial trip payment.

Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector (WTP) plans are based on each person's age as well as the cost of the trip and offer several levels of coverage including Platinum and Deluxe. Emergency medical coverage is primary coverage. Policy must be purchased within 14 days (for Deluxe) or 21 days (for Platinum) of your initial payment to have the pre-existing medical condition exclusion waived and to purchase CFAR coverage.
