Day 1
We depart via deluxe motorcoach for our tour to Lancaster, PA - the heart of the Amish Country. 2 nights at the COMFORT SUITES LANCASTER, featuring spacious guestrooms, indoor pool, fitness center. This evening prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as you are welcomed into a real Amish home as their guests for an AUTHENTIC AMISH DINNER. Enjoy their kind and gracious hospitality as the family serves you a delicious Penn Dutch feast.
Day 2
Today we have the opportunity to experience the best of Lancaster County’s heritage and culture. We begin with a visit to the OLD WINDMILL FARM, an authentic working Amish Farm owned by the Lapp family. Explore this genuine, centuries-old Amish family farm and learn more about their simple way of life as you walk through the authentic 72 acre farm. Visits to the Lil’ Country Store & Miniature Horse Farm along with a quilt shop to shop their unique Amish items. Explore KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE with lunch on own before taking our reserved seats this afternoon at Sight & Sound Theatre for “DANIEL.” Taken from his people, Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. Now this faithful servant must navigate his new life inside a palace filled with golden statues and shifting empires. As royal pressures mount, Daniel is faced with a dangerous choice. Will his trust in the one true God remain steadfast through every test of faith? From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience. Dinner tonight at MILLER’S SMORGASBORD.
Day 3
Head to Philadelphia’s Independence National Historical Park. Visit the NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER - begin with a multimedia “Freedom Rising”, view 42 life size bronze statues of the signers of the Constitution - celebrate our nation’s history. We’ll walk thru Philly’s Historical District to the LIBERTY BELL, the iconic symbol of American Independence.
