Day 1
Depart for Lancaster, PA, the heart of Amish Country. 2 nights at the COMFORT SUITES LANCASTER AMISH COUNTRY, featuring spacious guestrooms, indoor pool, fitness center. This evening prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as we enjoy an AUTHENTIC AMISH DINNER prepared by an Amish family. Day 2
Venture out onto the roads less traveled through the heart of the Amish farmlands with our local guide on our Amish Countryside tour. Explore KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE with lunch on own before taking our preferred reserved seats this afternoon at Sight & Sound Theatre for “JONAH.” Jonah is a prophet and a man desperately trying to outrun his calling from God — a calling that leads straight to his enemy, Nineveh. After uncharted adventures lead him off a stormtossed ship and into the belly of a giant fish, Jonah believes all hope is lost. But in the depths, will he learn how to receive grace and extend mercy, even toward those he opposed the most? Step back in time and experience the rich heritage of Lancaster County with a guided tour of the historic AMISH FARM & HOUSE. Learn fascinating insights into Amish history, traditions, faith, and daily life as you explore the beautifully preserved farmhouse. Following the house tour, enjoy free time to explore the scenic grounds. Visit the restored barn, one-room schoolhouse, smokehouse, and other outbuildings, stroll through the gardens, and meet the friendly farm animals. A perfect opportunity to discover Amish culture, history, and the beauty of rural Lancaster County! Head for home with great memories of our time in the Amish Country.
