Pickity Place Cottage Lunch & Cathedral of the Pines, NH

Favorite from 2025! Take a step back to when life was simple at Pickity Place in Mason, NH. Built in 1786, this quaint little red cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her illustrations in the Little Red Riding Hood- Little Golden Books. Spend time on their grounds and enjoy a 5-course sit down seasonal lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the sanctuary, sacred spaces, monuments, and burial grounds built as a memorial to those fallen in service to our nation at the the beautiful Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, NH. Along the way home we will make shopping stop at the Red Apple Barn - family-owned farm in Phillipston, MA.

Full payment is due at the time of reservation. Payments are non-refundable. Reservations are transferrable if you find a replacement.

If Friendship Tours needs to cancel a tour due to reasons beyond our control, you will receive a credit held on account with us without expiration or a refund check can be issued for the tour cost less a $10.pp administrative fee.
