This morning we head out to VALLEY FORGE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK to experience the history of the American Revolution on a scenic riding tour. Our guide shares stories of the Continental Army’s winter encampment. Along the way, visit the beautiful WASHINGTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, a tribute to General George Washington and the soldiers who served under him. Discover the breathtaking beauty of LONGWOOD GARDENS, where dazzling seasonal displays, vibrant flower gardens, and spectacular fountains create an unforgettable experience. Stroll through lush conservatories, meandering pathways, and stunning outdoor landscapes that showcase nature’s artistry in every season. Farewell dinner ends our day.
Enjoy COLONIAL CHOCOLATE MAKING at the BETSY ROSS HOUSE. Meet an 18th century chocolate maker and learn the history of chocolate in Colonial Philadelphia featuring techniques that were used in the 18th century followed by a self guided visit through the house. Enjoy READING TERMINAL MARKETPLACE for shopping and lunch before we head for home.
